Edvard Grieg Choirs

We are developing the singers of the future!

About us

Edvard Grieg Korene is Bergen's largest choral organisation, with over 200 singers divided into ten different choirs. At the top of the choir pyramid are the professional singers in Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble and Edvard Grieg Choir. Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble and Edvard Grieg Choir perform both regionally, nationally and internationally, and in recent years have participated in world-class performances and recordings through their work as an opera chorus and symphonic choir for Bergen National Opera and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Edvard Grieg Korene Barn&Unge consists of the aspirant choirs, the children's choirs, the youth choir, and the talent programme, and offers comprehensive choir training through the choir pyramid for children and young people aged 6 to 26.
