Launch concert – Last chapter

In these days, the aging festival Last Chapter was to be held for the first time. Due to infection control measures, the event has been postponed until 2021, but we are proud to contribute to and present this brand new launch concert at Bergenphilive!

The concert is a new recording with Edvard Grieg Boys' Choir and musicians from the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra of Erik Bye songs that are well known to many. In addition, works have been borrowed from, among others, KODE, which provides a different framework for the music.

ABOUT THE LAST CHAPTER

Last Chapter is a newly established foundation that works across fields and disciplines to create an ageing-friendly society. The last chapter is an experimental and forward-looking collaboration between Bergen National Opera, the University of Bergen, Bergen municipality and Bergen Sanitetsforening.

By building bridges between art, research, service development and volunteering, we want to challenge and expand practices and understandings related to ageing.
