About Youth Choir

Edvard Grieg Youth Choir is a high-level choir for young people aged 16-26. The choir is an arena for the development of cutting edge skills in singing technique and choral singing, and prepares the singers for a higher music education or active and competent participation in amateur music life.

The choir has regular weekly rehearsals and performs at home and abroad with our partners Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen National Opera and Coro Clarier. In August, the choir organizes a summer academy, which is a week of choral singing and instruction by the mentor choir Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble.
