Hilde Veslemøy Hagen
Hilde Veslemøy Hagen is from Bergen and has a performing major in singing from the Grieg Academy, where she studied with Hilde Haraldsen Sveen. Hilde has a wide repertoire and has been a soloist in a number of oratorios and church music concerts, among them Handel's Messiah , Bach's B-minor Mass and St. John 's Passion, Haydn's Creation and the Seasons , Mozart's Requiem and Britten's The Company of Heaven .
Through annual participation in Musica Nord's concert series "Grieg in Bergen", she sang and told the story of Edvard Grieg's life in more than a hundred concerts. She has also held several solo concerts at Troldhaugen, both in the villa and in Troldsalen. In an opera context, she has had roles as Queen of the Night in Mozart's Magic Flute in (Grieghallen in Bergen and in Järna Kulturhus, Sweden), as Baby Blue in Libby Larsen's Dreaming Blue and in Knut Waage's opera Veslefrikk in Tromsø, and Szeged, Hungary. She has been a soloist with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and has participated in a number of productions with the Bergen National Opera, both as a soloist and chorister.
Hilde has been a member of Edvard Grieg Kor (formerly KorVest) since its inception in 2003, and since then has participated in most of the choir's concerts. She also participates as a chorister on several CD recordings with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and choir. In 2005, she received Bergen Municipality's establishment grant.
