Children & Young People
About us
EGK Barn&Unge is Edvard Grieg Chorus' commitment to training and development in classical singing, from childhood to early adulthood.
The children and young people program consists of the aspirant choirs, the children's choirs, the talent programme, the youth choir and young voices, and offers comprehensive music training from 6 to 26 years of age. After completing the programme, the young people will be able to start a music education course at college or conservatoire, or they will be active contributors in choirs and amateur music life.
Edvard Grieg Korene BarnogUnge is deeply grateful for the invaluable collaboration and support from the Grieg Foundation. Their commitment is crucial to ensuring that so many talented children and young people have the opportunity to sing in choirs and experience art at a high level. The Grieg Foundation is an important partner in our work to promote the joy of music and artistic development, and we look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration in the years to come. Thank you for helping to shape the artists of the future!
